Graphene is generally harder, slicker and better at dispersing heat (which reduces water spots), and it often lasts longer than ceramic. Ceramic is still excellent and more affordable — graphene is the premium upgrade.
Depending on the plan and care, graphene coating lasts roughly 1 to 5 years. Gentle washing and avoiding harsh chemicals helps it reach its full rated life.
It strongly resists swirl marks and minor marring and makes washing safer, but no coating is fully scratch-proof. For stone chips and impact, paint protection film (PPF) is the stronger choice.
